How does teaching and learning change in a world where information is at your fingertips?
I feel like teaching and learning has become harder since it is at our fingertips now. For instance, when we write a paper in microsoft word the autocorrect helps us fix our misspelled words. Most people, like myself, don’t look at the word again to make sure to spell it right next time because we know autocorrect will help us out next time, too. What has become easier is that we can get help and look up something we need any time of the day because of the internet. If you need a recipe, you can google it. If you need some medical information, you can look it up. This can be to our advantage and disadvantage. Advantage, because we can use it whenever we need. Disadvantage, because sometimes we rely on it too much.
